Every attempt is always made to keep the school open but circumstances beyond our control may force us to have to close the school, this may include bad weather.
If a decision to close the school can be made before the start of the school day, we will, as far as possible, make this decision by 8.00am in the morning. In the first instance you should check this website where a message will be displayed on the home page via the scrolling message bar. If appropriate, further information will then be posted within this section of the website. A message will also be sent out via 'notifications@primarysite.net' the email system used by the school. If appropriate a text message may also be sent, but generally this will only be used as a last resort.
All parents should therefore ensure that email addresses, telephone and mobile phone numbers are up to date.
Other ways to find out if the school is closed are via the Surrey Schools website www.surreycc.gov.uk. Under the heading Schools & Learning click on: Schools and then School Closures for further information. Eagle radio will also make announcements of school closures.
