We are currently advertising for the following positions:

 

Part Time Teaching Assistant

We wish to appoint a part time Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and nurturing team, on a fixed-term contract from 27th February to 31st August 2023.

 

The post is for 14 hours per week, Wednesdays 9am – 12pm and Thursdays and Fridays 9am – 3pm including two unpaid half hour lunch breaks and two lunchtime playground shifts. It will involve supporting the learning of children in the classroom, within small groups and with individual pupils, under the guidance of the class teacher.

 

The successful applicants will be enthusiastic, hard-working, have a good rapport with children and enjoy working as part of a team. Good English, Maths and communication skills/qualifications are essential for this role.

The annual salary for this role is based on Surrey Pay Grade PS3, the pro rata salary starts at £6,461 p.a. based on a full time salary of £19,313.

 

Closing date for applications is 12pm on Thursday 9th February 2023, with interviews to take place on the week commencing 20th February 2023 (however candidates may be considered on application for interview).

 

Morning Club Playworker

We are looking to appoint a Morning Club Playworker to join our dedicated and nurturing team, on a permanent contract.

 

The post is for 2 mornings per week, 7.50am-8.50am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  There may be an opportunity to provide cover on other mornings as overtime.

 

Under the leadership of the Morning Club Supervisor, the role is to provide creative, safe and appropriate play opportunities for children in EYFS and KS1, before the school day starts.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, hard-working, have a good rapport with children and enjoy working as part of a team. 

The annual salary for this role is based on Surrey Pay Grade P3 for 38 weeks per year which is paid pro rata.

Any child of the successful applicant who attends Onslow Infant School will be able to attend Morning Club free of charge.
