We are delighted to announce that Genie Science club will be returning to Onslow Infants for the Spring term for years R-2!

There will be 8 sessions from Monday 28th April to Monday 7th July 3-4pm at a cost of £84 (There will be no sessions during the May half term break as well as May 5th (bank holiday) June 2nd (Inset).

What do we do…?

We cover loads of science topics from pressure, chemical reactions, bubbleology and rocketry to hovercrafts, sound and optical illusion! Examples of the makes our children bring home include telegraphs, torches, Hex bugs, lava lamps and balloon powered cars. They also often work collaboratively in areas such as construction and design, in the past making their very own leaning Tower of Pisa!

In our years of experience, we have found that nothing can resonate better with children than a nurturing environment where they are able to get completely hands on and not be afraid to learn through trial and error. Skills learnt through our programme include communication and team work, analysing, data interpretation, hypothesising, measuring and classifying to name just a few.
